Munday receives Alumni Achievement
Award
Jessica Munday, owner of Trio Solutions Inc., was given the MUSC
College of Health Professions Department of Health Administration and
Policy (DHAP) Alumni Chapter’s 2006 Alumni Achievement Award. Munday
has been an active member of the alumni association since graduating
with a master’s degree in health administration in 1998.
Incorporated in 2001, Trio Solutions is a full service consulting
company specializing in planning, marketing, and Web services for
health care and nonprofit organizations. Munday successfully increased
her client base from one to 30 within a three-year period and now has
nine full and part-time employees. This year, she was also named one of
Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty under 40.
After two terms serving as DHAP alumni president, Munday currently
serves as president of the MUSC College of Health Professions Alumni
Association. This past year, she helped recruit alumni representatives
from all departments within the College of Health Professions to serve
on the Alumni Association board. This action ensures representation
from all departments and increased alumni involvement.
Each year the DHAP Alumni Achievement Award recognizes an outstanding
individual, based on service to the field of health administration,
community, and the department itself. Individuals are nominated by
fellow alumni and are selected by a committee of alumni.
