Family: Husband, Mac; son, Boone, 20; and daughter, Lizzie, 18.

Favorite room in your house: The kitchen.

Favorite dish to prepare: Shrimp and grits.

Seasoning you must have in your pantry: Coarse ground pepper.

Fondest childhood memory: The summer I kept my great grandmother and learned to cook fried peach pie.

Bad habit: Finishing all my sentences with “do you know what I mean?”

Person you admire the most: My sister, Vicky, who is a Christian and needs a liver right now.

How do you stay fit: I need to work on that.

Biggest challenge: My extremely independent teenage daughter.

Personality trait you admire in others: Compassion.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Family, health and a job with benefits.

Something people don’t know about you: I modeled and traveled after finishing college, then worked for EMS for several years.
