Nominations being accepted for honorary degrees It is time to begin the process of selecting persons to receive honorary  degrees from MUSC, during commencement in May.   In general, honorary degrees go to individuals in the following broad categories: contribution to the nation; contribution to science; and contribution to the state or MUSC.   Consider making nominations of candidates (including supporting material such as letters, curriculum vitae, etc.) in these categories and submitting them to the Office of the Provost, 135 Cannon Street, Suite 101, no later than Nov. 18.   For information, call Marcia Higaki in the Provost’s Office at 792-2340.
