Name: Elinor C.G. Chumney, Ph.D.

Department: Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Sciences with an appointment to the Department of Health Administration and Policy.

How long at MUSC: 5 years.

City in which you were born: I was born in Charleston and raised in Beaufort.

Family: Husband, Wade, and two daughters, Morgan (2 ½) and Mary Elinor (10 months). We also have a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Augustus.

Favorite reading: Will and Ariel Durant's Story of Civilization: Vol. I-XI.

Favorite song: “You Can't Always Get What You Want” by the Rolling Stones.

Least favorite chore: Ironing.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Cool Whip. It's awful, I know, but I'm addicted.

Pet peeve: Tardiness.

How do you stay fit: Taking care of two little kids.

Guests at fantasy dinner: Queen Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Family, history, and old houses.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Catch up on sleep.

Something people don't know about you: I'm crazy about alligators and scared to death of those tiny little lizards.
