Radiation Oncology.
How long at MUSC: 4 years.
Where you were born: Colorado
Springs, Co.
Family: Husband, Renaldo, and
two dogs, Andre and Amos.
Least favorite chore: Laundry—it never
ends.
Fondest childhood memory: Hiking
in the Rocky Mountains with my daddy.
Pet peeve: Tardiness. I just
don’t get it.
Bad habit: Working too much.
What is your biggest challenge at work: Dealing with people from so many
different backgrounds.
Most rewarding thing about your job: Having patients stop by to say hello
after their treatments are completed. It is, of course, more rewarding
if they have good news.
If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Sleep.
Something people don’t know about you: I work two jobs and just started a
small Internet business.
The most interesting job you’ve ever had: The one I have now as a radiation
therapist.
Best advice you’ve ever received and who gave it to you: If you don’t stand for something you
are liable to fall for anything—my husband.
