Name: Rose Haselden.

Department: Surgery.

How long at MUSC: 28 years (most of which has been with the Department of Surgery).

Family: Husband, Will, and our black lab, Drake.

Favorite TV shows: Survivor and Amazing Race.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Milk.

Who do you admire the most: Jesus Christ.

Activities in your free time: Sunday school director at James Island Baptist Church.

Hobbies: Softball.

Biggest challenge: Diet and exercise.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Being able to help people who have been scheduled for heart surgery. And working in an extremely active and interesting environment under the direction of a great boss.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Spend it with my mom.

Something people don’t know about you: I’m a NASCAR fan (Jeff Gordon).

Historical event you would have like to have witnessed: The Resurrection.
