Name: Early Griffin III.

Department: Ambulatory Care.

How long at MUSC: 12 years.

Where were you born: Hopkinsville, Ky.

Family: Wife, Janet; children: Debbie, Vitaliana (Angie), Megan, Christiane (Vicky), Stacey and Nathaniel (Trey).

Something people don't know about you: I went to school on a music scholarship. I play the trumpet.

What was your first job: Drug store delivery boy.

Item you must have in the refrigerator: Fresh fruit.

What did you want to be when you were little: Electrical engineer.

How did you become interested in your profession: I was forced to be a hospital corpsman during the Vietnam era.

If you could change anything at MUSC, what would it be: The sick leave policy.

If you could change careers, what would you rather be doing: Construction contractor.

Favorite possession: A 1973 Porche 914 (I purchased it new in June 1973).
