Women Scholars Initiative presents fall colloquium

The MUSC Womens Scholars Initiative Midday Networking Sessions and Mentoring committees will sponsor a fall semester colloquium from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 14 in Storm Eye Institute Audiortium.
 
 The guest speaker will be John Raymond, M.D., provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. Raymond will speak on recruitment and retention of women faculty. A drop-in “meet and mingle” reception will follow.
 
Some upcoming Midday Networking events include financial and retirement planning (Oct. 13), grant managment (Nov. 1), and estate planning (Dec. 8). The MUSC Women Scholars Initiative is sponsored by the Office of Acadmic Affairs and Office of the Provost to promote the careers of women faculty on campus.
