MUSC initiates casting call for
‘Expert Idol’
Want to be
famous without having to endure a lengthy public audition and harsh
criticism from judges like Randy, Paula and Simon? Well, here’s the
opportunity of a lifetime.
The Office of Public Relations is looking for a few outgoing medical
professionals to host their own radio show for the Health Radio
Network. This online exposure could translate into additional air time
on radio and across television channels.
Anyone with an idea and a voice is invited to participate. This is a
chance for faculty, staff and students to share their message and offer
entertaining insight on an array of health-related topics to a global
audience. The best hosts include experts that can break complicated
information down into simpler terms for the common listener.
Contact Heather Woolwine (792-7669, woolwinh@musc.edu) or Megan Fink
(792-5172, finkm@musc.edu) in the Office of Public Relations to submit
your radio-show concept for consideration. Ideas must be entered by
Dec. 10, and casting will take place through the end of the year. Shows
could begin as early as January.
