Best thing about working at MUSC: Knowing that I make a difference.

Favorite TV shows: The Office and Grey's Anatomy.

Last book read: “The Tenth Circle” by Jodi Picoult.

Favorite room in your house: My screened-in back porch.

CD playing in your car: A beach music mix.

First job: Lifeguard at the neighborhood pool.

Least favorite chores: Laundry and cleaning the bathroom.

Bad habit: Smacking gum and chewing ice.

Person you admire the most: My mom.

Interesting fact about yourself: I was the South Carolina state swimming champ in high school and I can pogo with no hands.

Morning person or night owl: Night owl.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Awarding YES [Yearly Employee Support] Family Fund grants to deserving departments at MUSC where their programs would not otherwise be funded, and then seeing the results.

Biggest challenge at work: Trying to educate employees that giving any amount, even $5, will help the valuable programs at MUSC.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Go for a jog, head to the beach with a good book and end the day with a margarita.
