To help combat Diabetes, MUSC, along with other corporations and individuals, will participate in the “Walk to Cure Diabetes.” Endorsed by the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the walk will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Hampton Park at .

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. This year’s goal is to raise $5,000 with each participant raising at least $100. In addition to the walk, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is sponsoring a bake sale from 1:15 to 3 p.m.on Monday Oct. 20. in the Portico (Horseshoe area). All proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
