Carolina Family Care moves to new facility

Carolina Family Care in West Ashley has moved to a new and more convenient location from 29 Leinbach Drive to 1253 Savannah Highway.

New to this facility is the addition of special services on site as well as primary care. "Access of primary and specialty care is a forward step in bringing MUSC to the neighborhood, one of the unique characteristics of all Carolina Family Care offices," said Gebhard J. Steuer, M.D.

Steuer, Elanor R. Jenkins-Alford, M.D., James A. Lipke, M.D., all graduates of MUSC, believe in and offer personalized family care. ãItâs important to know the whole family and to address not only the problem at hand but also patient risks, perspective, fears and expectations. I believe that effective patient care requires as much attention to our patientsâ personal experiences of illness as to their diseases,ä said Steuer.

Carolina Family Care West Ashley is located in the Parkwood Center building on Hwy 17 and office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
