Future of medicine, public health conference slated for Oct. 6, 7

MUSC and 22 other key public health and health services organizations in North and South Carolina are sponsoring a conference on the future of medicine and public health on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 6 and 7, at the Discovery Place, Inc., in Charlotte, N.C.

Titled ãDiscovering our Health Destiny in the Carolinas: First Interstate Regional Conference on Medicine and Public Heath,ä this symposium examines the environmental and structural aftermath of having to do more work with decreasing resources. It is the outgrowth of the first national Congress of Medicine/Public Health Initiative and the first of five regional conferences being held nationwide.
