Hospice teleconference slated for April 14

The sixth annual Hospice Foundation of America National Bereavement Teleconference entitled “Living with Grief: At Work, At School, At Worship,” will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14.

The teleconference, moderated by Cokie Roberts of ABC News, will examine the ways loss and grief affect our interaction with others and the way we function in our day to day surroundings, like the workplace, school or places of worship.

The program, sponsored by MUSC and Ambulatory Care Social Work, will offer humane and practical suggestions for those assisting grievers and for organizations who may have those struggling with illness and loss in their midst.

The teleconference is intended for both professionals and lay people. Continuing Education credits are available for a wide range of professions.
