HALOS needs sponsorship for scholarships, camps There are children involved with the Department of Social Services (DSS) who need camp scholarships or donations for summer camps.     You can help to get them involved in positive activities. All of your donation will go directly to the child.   HALOS (Helping And Lending Outreach Support) is looking for new faith communities, individual and corporate business sponsorship to join in the community partnership of providing goods, services or discounts to child abuse and neglect victims and their families.   HALOS is a collaborative community program with Charleston County faith communities, business partners, the Trident Urban League (TUL), MUSC and case managers at DSS.   If you have any questions, ideas for businesses, individuals, or faith communities to be involved, contact HALOS coordinator, Pam Brooks at 740-0465, or co-director Eve Spratt, M.D., at 876-0504 or e-mail, spratte@MUSC.edu
