Support systems team offers communication options for OACIS Do you use OACIS to access your patient results?  If so, you may have noticed things about the program that you wish were displayed differently. Or you may be curious about whether other clinical data can be accessed in OACIS, which is not currently available.  The Patient Support Systems (PSS) team at CCIT has added a new button on the OACIS login screen called OACIS Comments. Clicking the button will open a window where you may type in your enhancement or development suggestion and send it directly to the OACIS team.  Many of the new features in OACIS have been the result of suggestions from the end-user—You. The “growth indicator” column on the Microbiology list and the anti-biogram button at the bottom of the Microbiology detail window were both implemented after creative suggestions from OACIS users.  Please remember, this communication option is not a substitute for a Help Desk call (792-9700) if you need assistance or are experiencing a problem with the system. It is intended to solicit your feedback and ideas for improvement on the program.  So get those creative juices flowing and send in your suggestions today.
