Students sponsor gift tree College of Pharmacy students are working to make Christmas merry for children who may not receive any gifts this year.    Pharmacy students have placed trees in the lobbies of the Basic Science and the Administration buildings as well as in the Harper Student Center. Each tree contains the names of children who could use a little holiday cheer.   Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC), provided a list of names and gift requests for the tree. CYDC also included some basic needs for their shelters, such as socks, pillows and school supplies.   Students and employees who want to be involved in the giving tree may choose a gift tag (in the shape of a bear) from one of the trees and purchase the gift requested.    Gifts must be returned in a gift bag with the bear tag attached by noon on Friday, Dec. 7 to the Harper Student Center, room 438.
