CARTA offers new, colorful bus passes The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) has a new bus pass which features an easy-to-read, colorful design. The passes were developed with input from patrons and non-riders. Patrons can log onto CARTA's Web site at <http://www.ridecarta.com> and purchase the new passes from Internet store on the homepage. The store offers 1-day ($2), 3-day ($5), 31-day ($18), 10-ride ($6) and 40-ride ($21) passes via the Web site. The delivery options include the 2 - 3 day priority mail service of overnight delivery for an additional charge. Bus passes are also available at area Piggly Wiggly stores and the Charleston Visitor's Center.
