Departments receive money from fund Congratulations to the following departments who received grants from the YES Undesignated Fund: The Department of Ob/Gyn for the Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners (SAFE) Team. The Department of Infant Care Unit to purchase VCR’s for patients’ rooms. The Department of Physical Therapy Arthritis Exercise Program. The Department of Clinical and Patient Education to purchase of The Newborn Channel. The Department of Health Promotion and Community Oriented Care- Think First for Kids! to purchase bicycle helmets. The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences to fund Camp Communication Vacation. The Department of Pediatric Endocrinology to fund Children’s Diabetes Program. The Department of Child Life Specialist to fund Sickle Cell Sister Support Group. The Department of Child Life Specialist to fund Pediatric Perioperative Preparation Program. The Department of Patient Access Services to fund CPR Programs. The Department of Clinical Pharmacology to fund the Hypertension Initiative of South Carolina. The Department of Safety, Security and Volunteer Services to fund the Annual Safety Fair. The Department of Physical Therapy, Burn Trauma Center to fund patient supplies. The Department of Outcomes Management to fund adult Diabetes Education in-patient program. The Department of Family Medicine to fund a Cancer Survivors study. These projects are all being funded thanks to the employees who contributed to the YES Undesignated Fund in 2000.
