Nursing college presents Nurse Educator AwardWanda Hoffman, R.N., of Goshen, Ind., is the first recipient of the MUSC College of Nursing's Nurse Educator Award. Hoffman is currently employed in home health care and is a member of the faculty of the College of Nursing in Goshen. The scholarship in the amount of $500 has been made possible through
a private donor who desires to stimulate interest in wound care education
into basic registered nurse educational programs. The scholarship will
be offered again for the year 2002. Eligible candidates for the scholarship
must be employed part time or full time as a nursing instructor at the
AD, BSN or MSN level and be accepted for admission to the Wound Care Specialty
Course.
