Department: Physical Therapy—wound ostomy and continence nursing.

How long at MUSC: Seven years.

City you were born: North York, ON, Canada.

Favorite room in your house: I just bought my first home. I love it all.

Favorite holiday tradition: Boxing day and Christmas crackers.

Special place in the world: Mary Lake in Muskoka.

Pet peeve: People who  sing “O Canada” to the tune of “Christmas tree.”

Activities in your free time: Swimming.

Biggest challenge at work: Tactfully answering the question “What is your job?”

Your idea of a perfect vacation: Sun, water and great food.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would you be: Michael Schumacher, Formula 1 race car driver.

Memorable or latest trip: Spain with my sister.

Most rewarding thing about your job: The diversity in my work: on the same day I have received consults for a 26-week gestational baby and a 116-year-old woman!

Something people don't know about you: I was a synchronized swimming coach.

Guests at your fantasy dinner: Billy Graham, Cary Grant, Georgia O'Keefe.
