Life support instructor update slated for Jan. 15There will be a basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support and a pediatric advanced life support instructor update from 1 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15, in room 302, Basic Science Building. This will help those instructors whose license is set to expire in December. The instructors must have taught four classes as verified by their records from their prior Community Training Center. A written test will be given and skills evaluated. Those instructors whose license expires this month need to contact the Community Training Center to become affiliated with the CTC prior to attending the update. Classes are as follows: BLS Instructors, 1 to 2:30 p.m.; ACLS Instructors, 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.; PALS Instructors, 3:45 to 5 p.m. Any questions can be directed to the MUSC CTC. Another update will be available later in the year for anyone expiring late 2003 if unable to attend this update. For information, call Molly or Jeannie at 953-8696.
