Winter training calendar

Department of Human Resources Management

The Department of Human Resources Management presents the 2002-2003 Winter Information Technology Training Calendar. In conjunction with its new IT service provider New Horizons, hands-on training for persons of all skill levels is offered.

All seminars are held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  unless otherwise noted,  at the New Horizons office in North Charleston, and are $60 per participant.

This session introduces opening and closing Access; create and modify tables; create, use and save queries; create spreadsheets for entering data and looking at records; create databases; and copy information from one database to another and includes a basic introduction to database theory.

This session introduces normalizing a table; designing and developing table relationships; editing and validating data in tables; working with calculations in a query; creating forms that contain sub-forms; and customizing reports created by the Report Wizard.

Jan. 30-31, Feb. 17-18, March 18-19, April 29-30
