1 to 2 p.m. Searching Article Indexes: An Introduction A general
introduction to searching Article Indexes: MEDLINE, Current Contents, PsycInfo,
CINAHL, HealthSTAR and CancerLIT.
Wednesday, May 8
1 to 2 p.m. CINAHL A demonstration of the literature of
nursing and allied health sciences covering 1982 to the present.
Thursday, May 9
12 to 1 p.m. MEDLINE A demonstration of the computerized index
to the biomedical journal literature covering 1966 to the present.
Friday, May 10
12 to 1 p.m. Article Indexes: Advanced Search Techniques
A demonstration of the more complicated techniques to enhance retrieval
from Article Indexes. Attendees should be familiar with basic searching
techniques in Article Indexes.
