Faculty nominations needed for scholars programNominations are being requested for faculty for the Presidential Scholars for the 2003-2004 Program from the College of Nursing and the College of Dental Medicine.One faculty member from each of these colleges will be selected to join
current faculty from the other colleges. Faculty will serve for three years.
To help students:
1. Advise on the content and activities of the program, including curriculum, evaluation, and student selection; 2. Facilitate interdisciplinary group activities, including attending meetings with student groups, advising on resources, preparing interim and final group presentations, and evaluating the team skills of their group members; 3. Plan the content component of at least one evening session, in collaboration with other faculty scholars; 4. Serve on and attend advisory committee meetings, conduct focus group meetings, attend informational sessions, and attend all scholars’ events and activities. Scholars meetings are monthly from 5-8 p.m. from August through April; 5. Participate in ongoing Web-based discussions; 6.
