Meet...Marti Name: Margaret White. Department: Medicine Administration. How long at MUSC: About 7 years. Favorite room in house: Den (where I can spread out with craft stuff). Favorite Web site:http://www.askjeeves.com (you can find just about anything here). Ingredients you must have in  the refrigerator: Milk and eggs. Fond childhood memories: Vacationing down at Edisto Beach with family—sneaking out to the beach before dawn and watching the sun rise, watching the dolphins play,  looking to see what sea creatures washed up on shore, and helping to bait my 96-year-old great-grandma's hook when fishing. Pet peeve: A pessimistic attitude. How do you stay fit: Pilates, walking and letting my dog, Gizmo, walk me. Biggest challenge at work: My job is a managerial of all different kinds of work, so the variety of jobs that I do can be a challenge at times, but it is also one of my biggest blessings as I get to meet so many wonderful people and I learn so many interesting things. What would you do on a free day: I would ask my grandmother if there was anywhere she would like to go because I love being with her and listening to her advice (she's 83 and still does the Mama commercials for Palmetto Ford). If you were told this was your last day to live: I would tell my family and friends how much I love and appreciate them.
