Meet...Larry
Department: Office of Enrollment Services. How long at MUSC: 7 years. Favorite room in the house: I live on a sailboat—cockpit at sunrise when the dolphins are running. Favorite Web site: Weather Underground: http://www.wunderground.com/. Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Balsamic vinaigrette (my own mix). Fondest childhood memory: My mother's nut rolls at Christmas time. Pet peeve: People throwing cigarette butts out of their car windows—you've got an ashtray, use it. Bad habit: Eating too many foods loaded with carbohydrates. How do you stay fit: I'm a licensed massage therapist in addition to my job at MUSC. Working with clients at Holistic Family Care and Charleston Massage and Bodywork about four evenings a week. Doing a couple of massages a night keeps me fit. What is your biggest challenge at work: Dealing with the many tasks related to commencement. Three things that mean a lot to you: Sharing time with those I care about, being near the water, getting my massage license so I can help others. If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Go fishing with my dad. If you were told this was your last day to live,
what would you do: Spend it on the water with
my girlfriend.
