HCC's Survivor's Walk to benefit Camp BluebirdFrom the moment of diagnosis, a person is a survivor, but that survival is the result of a daily battle. There can be physical and emotional exhaustion on the part of both the survivor and caregivers. Spending the weekend at Camp Bluebird provides a break. Since 1992, Camp Bluebird has been offering a unique experience for adults with cancer, a time away for listening and learning, for sharing and caring.Help is needed to continue to bring Camp Bluebird to cancer survivors.
Camp Bluebird is supported entirely by donations. A walk has been set up
to help raise funds for Camp Bluebird. Entitled “Survivor Walk,” the walk
will begin at 9:30 a.m. March 8 at Fort Moultrie National Park—1214 Middle
Street, Sullivan's Island.
