Meet...Leslie

Name: Leslie Kendall.

Department: Academic Affairs, Provost.

How long at MUSC: 17 years.

Favorite room in the house: My porch. We live in the woods so it's a great place to hang out and watch the wildlife.

Favorite quote or advice: “Everybody love, everybody love.” When I was younger, that's what I told my sisters and brother when they started  fighting, so now I say it when people at work start getting testy.

Biggest challenge: Staying on task. I tend to flit from one thing to another. Given enough time, I get it all done but if I run out of time nothing's complete.

If you could trade places with anyone who would it be: Are you kidding, my life is almost perfect! I can't think of anyone who has it better.

Your idea of a perfect vacation: It's got to be warm and on the water.

Most rewarding thing about your job: I love my job. I love seeing how this university works. I get to be involved in so many different things: research, construction, accounting, administration...

Something people don't know about you:  I love to work crossword puzzles.

Something you want to do before you die: Travel to Italy and, in fact, we have a trip planned for this time next year.
