Meet...Jennifer

Name: Jennifer Faye Mazyck-Brown.

Year and school: 2003 graduate, College of Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy).

Fond childhood memory: Playing with Barbie dolls with my sister.

Bad habit: Talking too loud.

Pet peeve: People not washing their hands after using the restroom.

Plans for the future: Fellowship in Health Outcomes in the College of Pharmacy here at MUSC for two years.

Biggest challenge: Learning to drive in Atlanta, Ga.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Cheese.

Special place in the world: Home—Orangeburg, S.C., where I met my husband, Redick, 20 years ago.

Who inspired you to study pharmacy: My sister, Pamela Mazyck, Pharm.D., assistant professor of pharmacy practice.

Something people don't know about you: I used to be a tap dancer.

Something you tried once and will never do again: Spinach.

Words of advice or favorite quote: Yesterday is a cancelled check. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is cash...spend it wisely.

What has been the highlight of your educational experience at MUSC: Being able to learn and associate myself with knowledgeable and respectable health care professionals.
