Name: Cornelia Spitz.

Department: Volunteer Services (formerly Ambulatory Care—RT).

How long at MUSC: 13 years.

Favorite TV show: JAG.

Favorite room in your house: My sunroom; I added it myself

Favorite music: Country; Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: A jug of tea; crumbled blue cheese.

Least favorite chore: Yard work.

Pet peeve: People who always think they’re right.

Guest list for fantasy dinner: George W. and Laura Bush, the Queen of England and Prince Charles.

Hobbies: Traveling. I keep scrapbooks of my trips to Europe and the Caribbean.

Memorable trip: Two weeks on a river trip from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

Personality trait that you admire in others: Patience (although I sometimes lack it).

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Sit on the beach with a glass of tea and a book.

Something people don’t know about you: I ride motorcycles.

Passions: Nativity school, MUSC, and Guardian Ad Litem (helping abused/neglected children).
