Responsible Conduct of Research course to be heldA course on the Responsible Conduct of Research is being offered to all postdoctoral fellows and interested faculty at MUSC beginning on Monday, Sept. 22. Participants will meet from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday mornings for six weeks in room 410 (Weight Management Conference Room) located in the Department of Psychiatry.The course will cover historical events leading to the current day policies on the conduct of research, foundations of ethical decision making, and aspects of conducting research, reporting research, peer review, handling research data, mentoring, research misconduct, conflicts of interest, gene therapy, and the use of human and animal subjects in research.
