Tony Pirraglia Memorial Golf Tournament slated for Sept. 13The Knights of Columbus Council 8900 presents the Tony Pirraglia Memorial Golf Tournament with a shotgun start of 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Golf Club at Westcott Plantation. The golf tournament will benefit programs for the mentally retarded.Captain's choice—Sign-up your own foursome or the Knights of Columbus will team you up. The three highest bidders will play in a group with WTMA's Radio-Free Rocky D. Cost is $50 per player or $200 per foursome. A hole-in-one wins either a Sonny's Camp-N-Travel 21-foot Amerlite Motor Home, a Jones Ford Explorer or a week at Fairfield Mountains Resort at Lake Lure, N.C. Event includes a luncheon and awards presentation following at the clubhouse. Team prizes: Closest to the pin and longest drive $5 mulligans (two per player maximum).
