Annual Walk to Cure Diabetes slated for Nov. 1 The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will host the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Wannamaker County Park. The walk begins at 9 a.m. and will include routes of both five kilometers and one mile.    Register for the walk by calling the JDRF office at 763-1973 or by visiting the JDRF Web site at http://www.jdrf.org.    Same-day registration will also be available beginning at 8 a.m. at Cypress Hall.    MUSC has several team captains from different departments.     If you would like more information on joining an MUSC team, contact Rebecca Jordan at rjordan@jdrf.org. This year, MUSC is a $5,000-level sponsor with Lyndon Key, M.D., serving as the corporate recruitment chair.
