Department: MUSC Wellness Center. Favorite reading: American and Civil War history. Favorite music: Elvis. Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Fresh, sweet basil. Fondest childhood memory: Planting a rose garden with my uncle when I was 7. Special place in the world: Jackson Hole, Wyo. Bad habit: I play video games, compulsively. Plans for the future: Work for MUSC, have three children, and own a plantation. How do you relax: Playing with my one-year-old son, Jackson. Your idea of a perfect vacation: Rustic, no electricity, camping and fishing. If you could trade places with someone, who would it be: My boss, Julian Smith, because he’s always smiling and having a good time. Historical event that you would have liked to have witnessed: The first shot at Fort Sumter. Something people don’t know about you: I love to climb giant trees.
