Health administration program receives national ranking
It’s quite an accomplishment for such a young program. Since it opened in 1996, the DHA program executive format has attracted national and international senior-level health professionals with both clinical and administrative backgrounds. The DHA class of 2004 attends a health policy course in Washington, D.C. The three-year program combines two years of periodic on-campus sessions, independent and web-based work, with a final year of independent doctoral project work. The structure allows students to earn a doctorate degree while maintaining full-time employment, making it an attractive option for health executives. Modern Physician Magazine ranked programs based on tuition costs, the number of days students must spend on campus, the number of years the program has been in existence, and the number of students who have graduated from the program. The DHA Program is currently accepting applications for fall 2004. For additional information, call 792-3324.
