Presidential Scholars give back to communityFive Presidential Scholars in the program's community partnership group, with their faculty advisors, gave back to the Johns Island community in activities ranging from blood pressure assessments to instruction in dental hygiene Oct. 9.The group's aim is to understand the role of the community in reducing heath care disparities, especially conditions that require access to pharmaceuticals. While participating in the health fair, sponsored in part by Comcast, the group polled the community on their interests in health care issues.
