A
Day of Caring
MUSC Children's Hospital will sponsor the annual United Way's Day of Caring
event, Sept. 14. The project allows individuals to volunteer their time
to benefit adults and children affiliated with a local agency. This year,
the Children's Hospital has chosen the Tri-County Immunization Coalition,
an organization focused on increasing immunization rates in Charleston,
Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
Participants are encouraged to join an assembly line of volunteers in
room 267, North Tower between 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., to create lapel ribbons,
which will be distributed next spring. Employees can share 30 minutes to
two hours to support this service project. Refreshments will be served
To register, contact Kathy Seward, at 792-9848.
