Name: Lori Solado.

Department: University Communications.

How long at MUSC: I was here for about two-years, left for about two years and have been back almost seven years. I found out the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Favorite TV shows: Drama shows like CSI, Law & Order, and Medical Investigation.

Favorite room in your house: Sunroom.

Favorite song: I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor.

Least favorite chore: Cleaning the litterboxes.

Bad habit: Wanting to perfect everything.

Pet peeve: Vehicles with inoperable brake lights or tail lights.

Biggest personal challenge: Parenting.

Your idea of a perfect vacation: My dream vacation is an Alaskan Cruise/Land Excursion with my husband.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Being able to determine what the customer wants or needs and make it work—customer satisfaction is #1!

Historical event you would have like to have witnessed:There are several biblical events that I would have loved to witness, such as Pentacost, the parting of the Red Sea, or the miracles Jesus performed.
