Department: 23-year veteran of the Burn Unit now with PACU.

How long at MUSC: 31 years.

Family: Wife, Cynthia; daughter, Tisa; and sons, Tony and Dathan.

Favorite TV program: The news.

Favorite room in your house: Wherever there is a good chair I can rest in.

Favorite type of music: Gospel.

Fondest childhood memory: Being a senior and playing on the basketball team for Bonds-Wilson High School.

Bad habit: Not eating well.

Pet peeve: Having to pay for parking.

Special time: When I am sitting in the boat waiting for the fish to bite.

Biggest fish you’ve ever caught: Five-pound Pink Snapper I caught during an off-shore fishing expedition.

Idea of a perfect vacation: Having your own island.

How do you stay fit: Walking.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Learning new things related to patient care.
