Roll up your sleeve and get that flu
shot
Whether it’s believable or not, summer’s gone and winter is on the way.
With colder weather comes an increased chance for illness, and the flu
is an unwanted guest this time of year, especially during the holidays.
All MUSC, MUHA, Sodhexo, and designated UMA employees are eligible to
receive a free flu shot. If an employee is not able to go to Employee
Health Services at 57 Bee Street or Infection Control, then shots may
be received via one of the flu vaccine satellite locations listed in
the box. Employee Health Services and Infection Control will begin
administering the vaccine on Oct. 24. No appointments are necessary to
receive a shot from Employee Services. Pregnant women should consult
their physician before receiving the vaccine.
For more information, call 792-2991.
