Legacy of Heroes exhibit on display
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is hosting Legacy of Heroes, a
project to commemorate the contributions of orthopaedic surgeons
during World War II, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and
11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday through Oct. 18 at the Harper Student
Center.

Surgery, and others view the World War II Legacy of Heroes traveling
exhibit. The exhibit, which has been on the road since 2004 and will
conclude in 2006, are recollections of experiences from orthopaedic
surgeons who served during WW II. The Charleston exhibit, hosted
by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, will be on display until Oct.
18 at the Harper Student Center downstairs lobby. For information or

The exhibit, completed by the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons,
tells the courageous, inspiring, and sometimes heartbreaking stories of
orthopaedic surgeons who served in WWII.
