Lose to Win contest to begin Jan. 12
Don’t forget to register for Lose to Win 2006. This healthy
lifestyle/weight loss program runs from Jan. 12 to Feb. 23. All MUSC
staff, students and friends, who are 18 years or older, are encouraged
to participate.
All of the activities for this year’s program will address the theme of
“Busy Bodies Building Healthy Habits” and will be aimed at helping
participants learn to build healthy habits into everyday life.
Participants will receive a registration packet, weekly newsletters and
be those who attend every class and/or lose six pounds during the
program will be eligible to win a grand prize of $100. Energetic and
interactive classes will be offered during lunch periods six times
throughout the program. Topics for classes will include: goal setting,
weight management, cooking, fad diets, eating out on a budget and
relaxation.
There is still one more chance for early registration from 11 a.m. to
12:30 p.m., Jan. 5 across from the Gourmet Coffee Shop.
Participants may pre-register by using the form below and dropping it
off in the drop boxes located in the hospital lobby, the Clinical
Sciences Building entrance, the Harper Student Center and the
cafeteria.

All registrations received before Jan. 12 will receive a discount of $5
off the $20 registration fee. The program will officially begin with
the weigh-in on Jan. 12 and will be completed with the weigh-out on
Feb. 23.
