Special place in the world: The beach in Condado, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
How do you stay fit: When I started as interpreter I had to run from one place to another and sometimes didn’t have time for lunch. I lost 10 pounds.
Biggest challenge: Juggling my interpreter duties with my cultural competence job.
Memorable or latest trip: I went to San Diego to take my daughter to college.
Most rewarding thing about your job: Contributing to the health care of the non-English speaking population.
Something people don’t know about you: I used to work in radio, making and recording commercials.
