of Diversity scholarships awarded to MUSC students
Active students in the colleges of Dental Medicine and Graduate Studies
were recognized at the beginning of the spring 2005 semester as recipients
of several Office of Diversity scholarships.
 Dr.
John Sanders, interim dean, College of Dental Medicine, presents LaFaith
Miller, left photo, and Me’Chell James with their scholarships.
They are: LaFaith Miller, $1,000, and Me’Chell James, $1,000—College
of Dental Medicine; Claudia Rocha, $500, Willieta Gibson, $500, Juan C.
Varella, $500, and Shantae James, $500—College of Graduate Studies.

COGS students to receive scholarships.
Other diversity scholarship recipients include: Lembe Ambe, $500, Anjanette
Badger, $500, and Ladavia Drummond, $500—College of Pharmacy; Tanya Eaddy,
$1,000 and Lavura DuBose, $1,000—College of Health Professions.
