Organizers for the Heart Walk Hustle couldn’t have asked for a more
beautiful day. With blue skies and sunshine above, the annual MUSC
Heart Walk Hustle raised more than $4,300 to contribute to the American
Heart Association’s (AHA) 2005 Lowcountry Heart Walk.
Meredith Sanders,
Hospital Administration resident, prepares to throw a second ball in an
attempt to dunk Children's Hospital Administrator John Sanders. (No
relation.)
In addition to this total, proceeds from the Heart Walk Auction and
Heart Walk itself on Sept. 24 will also go to the AHA. The Web site
posts the highest bid per item on a daily basis and winners will be
announced after bidding closes at noon, Sept. 23.
Diana Sciarro,
left, Hospital Administration, and Karen Thal, Clinical Services
Administration, hold the limbo pole for Pediatric Cardiology director
Dr. Phil Saul.
“Elvis” arrives for
a performance in the horseshoe during the Sept. 9 Heartwalk Hustle.
Winners are not required to be present to receive the item or package,
as each one will be contacted and posted on the Web site.
