Jump rope expert to hold workshop
Sept. 24
Buddy Lee, the world’s leading jump rope expert, will hold a workshop
and demonstration at the MUSC Harper Student Center, Saturday, Sept. 24.
Lee served as the official U.S. training expert for 25 Olympic teams,
and used jump roping to become a highly conditioned Olympic Athlete,
World Medalist, and National Champion in wrestling and Marine Athlete
of the Year twice.
During the workshop and certification, Lee will demonstrate his rope
skills and show why jump roping ranks as one of the most efficient ways
of developing cardiovascular fitness and burning calories. He uses his
patented jump rope training outlines four steps to develop fitness,
improve sports performance, and trim, tone or lose weight.
The workshop and certification begin at 9 a.m. The workshop cost is
$165 and includes four CEUs. It will conclude at noon. Those interested
in certification will stay until 5 p.m., with a cost of $275 and eight
CEUs. For more information or to register, contact Janis Newton at
