SRD 2005 abstract deadline Sept. 21
The 40th MUSC Student Research Day (SRD) 2005 will be held on Nov.
4. SRD 2005 is open to all students, postdocs
residents and fellows at MUSC (and students, postdocs residents and
fellows at other institutes who have participated this past year in
programs of research at MUSC—including the summer health professional
research program, the summer undergraduate research program and the
Governor's School summer research program).
The SRD 2005 Abstract Submission Web site and form is located at http://bfs.itlab.musc.edu/srd/index.cgi.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is midnight, Sept. 21.
One abstract per presenter is allowed and oral and poster formats are
available.
There will be sessions for undergraduates, health professionals,
masters, Ph.D.s, postdocs and residents/fellows. For each session
there will be a first place prize of $500 and a second place prize of
$200.
In addition to these prizes, there will be three separate, independent
sets of prizes to be awarded by the MUSC Library which will recognize
the best bioinformatics presentation(s), the MUSC InterProfessional
Working Group which will present an award that best represents
collaboration between two or more professions, and an award by Sigma Xi.
