Faculty senators elected
Thirty-five
faculty members were elected to the faculty senate in elections held at
the end of August. New senators begin their terms in October.

Gary Haynes, Dorothea Jenkins, George Johnson, Brad Keith, Eric Larson,
Bonnie Martin-Harris, Amy Ramsay, Anand Sharma and Ira Willner.

In addition to the selection of senators, two proposed constitutional
amendments and corresponding changes in the faculty handbook were on
the ballot. Amendments, “I. Eligibility to Vote regarding University
Affairs” and “II. Appointment of Senate Vacancies,” passed and the
handbook changes approved.
