Select a bear tag, help a child in
need at center
College
of Pharmacy students are placing Christmas trees throughout MUSC with
teddy bear gift tags to help support the Carolina Youth Development
Center this holidy season.
Between Nov. 17 and Dec. 8, the MUSC community is asked to help in
providing a merry Christmas tochildren who may not receive any
gifts this year.
Participants can select bear tags from one of the trees and purchase
the gift requested. Gifts need to be returned (in gift bags only with
gift tag attached) to the MUSC Gives Back office, Room 213A Harper
Student Center, by noon Friday, Dec. 8.
The trees are located inthe lobbies of the Education Center/Library
Building, the Basic Science Building, the College of Health Professions
Building and Harper Student Center. Each tree contains the names of
children who could use a little holiday cheer.
On Dec. 8 an MUSC Santa Claus will deliver the gifts to Carolina Youth
Development Center, an umbrella organization that supervises shelters
for children.
